Native Plant Sale

Salt Lake County – Saturday, May 14, 10am-3pm

The Salt Lake Conservation District’s third annual Native Plant Sale will take place on May 14th, the Saturday before Mother’s Day at REI on 3285 East 3300 South from 10 am to 3 pm. Our sale will feature over 40 species of high quality native trees, shrubs, grasses and perennials for enthusiastic gardeners. Plants are native to Utah, grown locally and are not taken from the wild. Each native is sold as a tubling; trees and shrubs are 10 cubic inches and perennials are 7 cubic inches. Cost will be $2.7 5 for perennials and $3.50 for grasses, trees and shrubs, tax included.

You will find favorite native perennials such as Mexican Hat, Blue Columbine and Desert Four O’clock.  We will also be stocking harder to find perennials such as Butterfly Weed and wide variety of penstemons.

The Native Plant Sale is a part of the Salt Lake Conservation District’s mission and provides funds to support the Purge Your Spurge event and other local conservation efforts.
