Every year Salt Lake Conservation District awards a $500 scholarship to a high school senior who is majoring in an agricultural related field.
The 2011 application is now available. In addition to the application, applicants must submit a one page essay and a copy of their high school transcript. The topic for the essay is “What is Your Top Natural Resource Concern and Why.”
Applications must be submitted to the Salt Lake Conservation District via mail to 6782 S. 1300 W., Salt Lake City, UT 84121, or via e-mail to Lindsey Brooker, by April 14, 2011.
The Scholarship Selection Committee will review all applications, make the award and notify the winning applicant by June 2011.
